Elevate Global Privacy Policy
Elevate Global, Inc. (“Elevate Global,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) recognizes the importance of your privacy, whether you are an entrant, contestant, voter, parent or guardian, winner, account holder, or visitor (“you” or “Participant”). This Privacy Policy applies to the Next Music Star Competition and our websites located at thenextmusicstar.com and www.elevate-global.co, and to other websites and online services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Website”).
This Privacy Policy explains why we collect information, what information we collect, how we collect it, how we use and disclose it, how long we retain it, the choices and rights available to you, and how to contact us. This Privacy Policy, together with our Terms of Use, governs your use of the Website and your participation in the Competition.
In this Privacy Policy, “Personal Information” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with an individual or household. The precise definition may vary under applicable law. Personal Information does not include information that has been aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized so that it can no longer reasonably be used to identify a particular person.
Why Do We Collect Your Information?
Elevate Global operates an online platform for talent competitions through which aspiring individuals may showcase their talents, participate in competitions, connect with the public, and gain recognition. Members of the public vote for contestants.
We collect information to communicate with you; create and manage contestant accounts; verify that voters are real people; enforce our voting rules; process and administer participation in competitions; enable free and paid voting; process transactions; provide customer support; improve our competitions, prizes, opportunities, Website, and marketing; prevent fraud and abuse; protect Participants and the public; and administer promotions, surveys, and sweepstakes. More specifically, we collect your information to:
-
Verify that voters are real people and enforce our limit of one free vote per person per day.
-
Record, de-duplicate, and tabulate votes, and determine competition results.
-
Detect, investigate, prevent, and respond to voting fraud, vote manipulation, and other malicious, deceptive, unauthorized, or illegal activity.
-
Administer competitions, registrations, eligibility reviews, contestant profiles, advancement, and prizes.
-
Create, authenticate, secure, maintain, and support contestant accounts.
-
Process purchases, paid votes, refunds, receipts, and related transactions.
-
Provide customer service and manage our relationship with you.
-
Send transactional and competition-related communications.
-
Send marketing communications where you have opted in, and manage your communication preferences.
-
Analyze, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Website and our competitions.
-
Enforce our rules, terms, and agreements; protect legal rights; comply with law; and resolve disputes.
When Do We Collect Your Information?
We collect information when you visit or use the Website; sign in using a Facebook Login or TikTok Verification; register for or enter a competition; submit photographs, videos, biographical information, or other content; cast a free or paid vote; make a purchase; communicate with us; respond to a survey or marketing communication; complete a form; provide parental or guardian consent; or otherwise provide information to us.
We also automatically collect certain information during your use of the Website, such as your IP address, device identifier, browser type and settings, operating system, referring domain or URL, language preferences, mobile carrier, approximate location derived from IP address, pages viewed, links clicked, session information, and other Website activity. We collect this information to operate and secure the Website, understand usage, improve our competitions and marketing, prevent fraud, and protect Participants and visitors.
With Whom Do We Share Your Personal Information?
Our employees, contractors, and agents may access Personal Information on a need-to-know basis to perform their duties.
We disclose Personal Information to service providers that support website hosting and development, identity and login services, email and SMS communications, customer support, analytics, marketing, fraud prevention, security, payment processing, professional services, and competition operations. Service providers are contractually restricted to processing information on our behalf and for our purposes.
-
Klaviyo, which we use to send transactional and marketing email and SMS messages. See the section below.
-
Stripe, which processes payments and related transaction data, including information about devices that connect to its services, and which uses that information to operate and improve its services and support fraud detection and prevention.
We may disclose information to sponsors, business partners, judges, or other parties involved in a competition where disclosed at the time of collection, necessary to administer the competition, or otherwise permitted by law.
We may disclose information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, sale of assets, or similar transaction. We may also disclose information in response to lawful requests, investigations, subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process; to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; to protect our rights, property, users, affiliates, sponsors, licensors, merchants, or the public; or as otherwise required or permitted by law.
We may disclose aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify a particular person.
Information Used for Voting through Social Platforms
We offer voting through your logged-in Facebook and verification via your TikTok (each a “Social Platform”) accounts. You are not required to vote via Social Platform to set up a Next Music Star account. In allowing for such voting, we need to confirm that each person casting a free vote is a real individual, and to enforce our limit of one free vote per person per day.
The Social Platform may provide us with your first name, last name, and email address, together with an identifier specific to our website. In addition, we ask you to complete a short form so we can verify and communicate with you, which may contain information we received from the Social Platform, which you may correct.
We do not receive your Social Platform password, friend list, posts, photographs, or other profile content. We do not share, sell, or license this information received through the Social Platforms, other than with our service providers as necessary to carry out the Competition. We do not use the information to build advertising audiences.
An individual’s voting history is not available to Participants. We maintain our own internal login identifiers and email addresses as submitted with the individual record to recognize different voting sessions, enforce our limit of one free vote per person per day, and detect duplicate or automated voting. An email address is required for each voter record.
Disconnecting your account
You may disconnect Next Music Star at any time through the connected-app settings provided by Facebook or TikTok. Disconnecting stops future access through that connection, but it does not delete information we already received. To delete that information, submit a deletion request as described below.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies, pixels, software development kits, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the Website, remember preferences, authenticate users, complete transactions, gather navigation information, analyze usage patterns, improve the Website, personalize content, and measure advertising. The categories of cookies we employ are:
- Essential Cookies, which are necessary to provide the Website and its core functions, including sign-in and vote processing.
-
Functional Cookies, which enhance performance and functionality but are not strictly necessary.
-
Analytics Cookies, which help us understand Website use and the effectiveness of our marketing.
-
Targeting or Advertising Cookies, which may recognize a prior visitor, measure advertising, and support interest-based advertising.
We may allow third parties to use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about online activities over time and across websites. Most browsers allow you to manage cookies through browser settings. Declining certain cookies may affect Website functionality.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to help create reports and statistics concerning Website performance and use. Google Analytics may collect information such as IP address, device type, operating system, referring URLs, approximate location, and pages visited. Google provides an opt-out browser add-on for users who do not want Google Analytics used in their browser. Apart from cookies, when you engage in a transaction with us or click on certain features, we will use a hashing algorithm that protects your personal information before we send it to Google for analytics and matching purposes. For more information on this process, please see How Google Uses Enhanced Conversion Data.
Pixels and Other Tracking Technologies
Pixels are small files or code embedded in a website, email, or advertisement. We may use pixels and similar technologies to understand whether pages, emails, or advertisements were viewed or interacted with, measure campaigns, analyze browsing activity, and improve the user experience. Browser privacy settings and certain extensions may allow you to limit some tracking.
Requests to Opt Out of Tracking and Sharing
The Website does not currently detect or respond to a Do Not Track signal.
Some of the pixels or cookies we use may share identifiers, IP address, Website activity, and advertising-event information with third parties. To opt out of such sharing, email privacy@thenextmusicstar.com with “Opt-Out of Data Sharing” in the subject line and we will honor your request. Our Website also responds to the Global Privacy Control (GPC) Signal.
Email and SMS Communications
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails from us at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in the email or by emailing “Unsubscribe from Email” to us at privacy@thenextmusicstar.com.
We also communicate by text. By providing your phone number through our Services, you consent to recurring auto-dialed SMS text customer services and transactional messages. If you separately and specifically consent, we may also send you marketing text messages. Message frequency depends on the offers and services we provide. Reply “HELP” for help, and “STOP” to cancel. Messaging and data rates may apply. Your consent for SMS is not required to participate in the Competition.
If you enter a competition, our competition rules require that you agree to receive competition-related email and text messages as a condition of entry, so that we can administer the competition and communicate with you about your participation. If you are a voter, you may receive operational text messages to complete or document activity you initiated, including receipts for paid votes, payment or refund notices, fraud or security alerts, support responses, or other competition-related or legally required notices. If you unsubscribe from such emails or reply STOP to such operational text messages, we may be unable to send you certain competition communications, and your entry will remain subject to the competition rules.
We may disclose your SMS opt-in or consent status with service providers that help us provide our messaging services, including but not limited to platform providers, phone companies, and any other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages.
Withdrawing consent to marketing emails or texts does not stop receipts or other strictly transactional communications.
Information from Minors
For our competitions that permit entrants between 13 and 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must complete the registration process, provide required the information and consents, and authorize the minor's participation in the competition.
We may collect and use additional information relating to minor participants and their parents or guardians to verify eligibility, administer competitions, communicate regarding participation, award prizes, comply with legal obligations, and otherwise operate the competition.
Parents and legal guardians may contact us at privacy@thenextmusicstar.com regarding information associated with a minor participant.
Only parents and legal guardians should provide Personal Information concerning a minor. If we learn that we collected Personal Information from a child in a manner not permitted by law, we will take appropriate steps to delete it. A parent or guardian who believes a child under 18 provided information without appropriate consent may contact privacy@thenextmusicstar.com.

Privacy and data-protection laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards and lawful transfer mechanisms.
Third-Party Websites and Links
The Website may contain links, advertisements, or social media icons that lead to third-party websites or services. Those third parties’ privacy policies and terms, rather than this Privacy Policy, govern their practices. Your use of Facebook Login or TikTok Login is also subject to the privacy policy and settings of that provider. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services.

We maintain administrative, physical, and technical safeguards designed to protect Personal Information. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot promise that Personal Information, searches, or communications will always remain secure.
We retain Personal Information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including to administer competitions, provide services, maintain records, comply with legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and protect legal rights.
